Graduates of this 12-month diploma program will develop the marketing and advertising skills to plan, direct, and evaluate the activities of sales departments. You will be able to promote the sale of products/services and establish distribution networks for these products. As a graduate, you will have the ability to develop and execute advertising campaigns, communication strategies to publicize events and maintain media relations. You will also be prepared to play a role in human resource management, including recruitment, orientation, change & organizational management and strategic planning.

As a result, this program provides extensive training in common office software applications as well as the skills needed to adapt to and manage the ongoing challenges today’s office payroll administrators must face.
This 46 weeks program provides practical training in office management practices, including operations, structure and functions, problem solving relative to people, equipment and procedures, and accounting and payroll practices including accounts payable/ receivable, trial balances, bookkeeping, journal entries, and payroll administration. The incorporation of CPA approved payroll courses provides graduates with a comprehensive skill set for today’s competitive job market.
Students must successfully complete the Canadian Payroll Association’s Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) Certification and participate in a 250-hour placement to receive an Office and Payroll Administrator diploma.

Health Sciences- Pharmacy Technician Program (Distance Education)
The Pharmacy Technician Program at CTS College combines online distance learning, a campus-based skills camp and a work placement component to prepare you for career opportunities in the pharmacy industry. Developed under the counsel of the Canadian Council for Accreditation of Pharmacy Programs (CCAPP), our program is designed to prepare you to sit the Structured Practical Training (SPTs), Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP) Jurisprudence and Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) qualifying exams. Successful graduates will be eligible to become a regulated pharmacy technician in Canada.
The online portion of the program features web-conferencing, instructor-led lectures and activities that promote interaction and collaboration with your classmates – all done within the comfort of your own home! Each semester finishes with an intensive 40-hour skills camp at your nearest CTS College campus, where you’ll put your skills into practice in a simulated lab environment with workstations. By the end of the program, students will have learned the advocacy and research skills that will qualify them to interview and represent clients in Claims Court, Administrative Tribunals, the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice for provincial and criminal matters. Students will gain valuable experience during a 120-hour placement arranged through the College. By successfully completing our program in 52 weeks, our graduates possess the skills needed to pass the Law Society of Ontario licensing exam and practice as independent paralegals.

Natural attrition and a growing urban population have resulted in an increasing demand for new police and security personnel. The OPP, RCMP and municipal agencies are currently actively pursuing new recruits. Graduates of the Police Foundations program are trained to pursue a career in the various policing agencies across Canada. Alternative career paths include Canadian customs and immigration, custody and correctional services, and federal and provincial government enforcement bodies. Court bailiffs, campus police, wardens, personal and property security officers, 9-1-1 operators, and loss prevention control personnel are also in high demand across the country.
Throughout the program (51 weeks), students become involved with their local community through assisting police services or event security detail. Students are required to wear the prescribed uniform and name tag during classes and practicum placement.

CTS Canadian Career College in association with Highlander Brew Co. is proud to offer this 36-week Diploma Program which can be easily managed alongside your busy work schedule. This diploma program prepares the graduate for work in various breweries, including large-scale breweries or craft breweries. The classroom instruction will primarily be done through an online distance learning model, enabling students to remain within their respective communities and not have to relocate for an extended period of time to take their theoretical training. Upon completion of the 5 month virtual classroom portion, students will be assigned to various breweries for the practical aspect of the training in a 360-hour internship.
